I know this is a long shot, but what the heck :)

I have an Arenna Robertson b 1787 who married Ivy Horton in 1808, Lancaster District South Carolina. The named their 2nd child Lerner McKendree Horton. The name McKendree does not show up in any of Ivy's ancestors lines (so far) which leads me to believe that it's a Robertson name, perhaps Arenna's mother's maidein name.

Has anyone ever tied these two families together? Or, does anyone recognize Arenna Robertson?

Ivy died in 1819 leaving Arenna a widow. I have found her in the 1860 census living with Lerner and his family, but I have found nothing on her to shed light on her line.
