his ward or near as he could judge sd. Barna. POPE claim in right of his wife who was daughter of the wife of Jno. McKINNY, dec'd, part of the personal estate saith nothing further. Whereupon the court are of the opinion that he has some of the effects of the sd. Defendant in his hands (Edgecombe NC Court Minutes).
