McKinnie Born New York But Passed Away in the State of Michigan

Need help on finding my great great grandmother's parents and sibling's names.My great great Grandmother Martha(McKinnie)Reeves.All do know of is that she was born in the state of New York,in the year of 1829.Not sure of when she married my Great Great Grandfather Gideon Reeves born in the State OF New York in the year of 1832.There first born was also born in the state New York,then the second child my great Grandmother Anna A OR E (Reeves)Briggs she was born in the state of Pennsylvania.The last three siblings were born in the state of Michigan.The name of the first born who also born in the State of New York,Arnold Scofield Reeves born in the year of 1854. I have traced my lineage back to William J McKinnie (b 1807 Warren GA, d 1877 Union County AR)and can't get any further.
William J married Eliza Grumbles about 1830-1833. They moved to Union Country AR in 1848. With all the Grumbles research, I would hope someone can help me crack my roadblock.

Hi, I am looking for parentage or any information on an Arthur McKinnie and his wife. According to their youngest son's biography, he was born in 1811 in Wayne Co, NC but settled in Hardeman County, TN. He was said to be a preacher at the Methodist Episcopal church and also a "very successful" farmer.

In 1833 he married Harriet D. Lea/Lee in Hardeman County and they had 7 children. Harriet was born in Rockingham Co NC in 1810. Harriet Lea McKinnie was widowed by 1850. She died in 1886 in Hickory Hill, Hardeman Co. NC.

Their children were as follows:

William McKinnie b 1836
John A McKinnie b 1837
Albert D McKinnie b 1838
Francis J. McKinnie b 1840

I am also seeking info on the family of Albert Jefferson McKinnie. AR Gen. Society book of AR births prior to 1905 reports him b. in Ouachita Co., AR on 2 Aug 1887 and his mother's maiden name as Mary Jane Poole. His father's name wasn't shown. His WW I Draft Registration reports b. 2 Aug 1886 in Oakland, Union, LA. In the 1910 and 1920 censuses, he is living in Union Co., LA and married to Pearl; his shown children are Neva Ethel, Estelle, Earman A., Inez and George A.

I am trying to determine if he is the brother to my Grandmother, Emma McKinnie, whose mother's maiden name was possibly Poole. Also,there is the possibility that Emma lived in Marion,Union, LA before she married.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. She's a brick wall that I can't seem to knock down.

Emma H. McKinnie, b. 1872 in Arkansas

I am looking for names of parents or siblings of my grandmother, Emma McKinnie, born 28 June 1872 in Arkansas. In 1891 she married Robt. "Bob" J. Wisdom of Misissippi in Union Parish, Louisiana. (I believe them to have met in Arkansas). They settled in Bayou Chene, St. Martin, Louisiana and she died 24 Dec 1940. She is buried at Bayou Sorrell, Iberville, Louisiana. I know she had several siblings and she had a large family herself (10 children, one of whom died at the age of 3). Her father may have been b. in Georgia and her mother in Arkansas. I had originally thought her name to be spelled as McKinney because this was the way my dad had entered it into his Bible, but I see on her and Bob's marriage certificate that it is spelled McKinnie. Of course, it was probably spelled numerous ways over the years, lol.

Any help or possibilities would be greatly appreciated.

Gracy McKinnie was my grandmother. She was born in N.C. in 1810. She had at least one child by the name of Jack McKinnie. Jack Married Nancy ? and they had about 7 children (Mosella, Amy, Jack Raymond Jr., Willie "Boss", Mary Ola, Bernus). They were all from the Bolivar, Old Hickory, Whiteville area.

Have you tried looking up some of your family via census records? If not, can you give me the name of one of your ancestors that lived during 1900-1920? I may be able to look them up via census and send the report to you free!

Martha Freeman (born about 1841 AL) married #1 James H. McKinnie in 1860 (probably in Union County, Arkansas) and #2 John D. Graves in 1869.

Martha's parents were James Freeman (age 43, farmer, born SC) and Frances Freeman (age 34, born VA). They lived in Autauga (or Bibb) County, Alabama before coming to Union County, Arkansas about 1843.

Martha Freeman's sister Mary Jane (born 1837 AL) was my great-grandmother and she married Daniel Jefferson Heldebrand as his second wife in Arkansas.

I'm searching for the family of my ggggrandfather, Henry McKinney. He was born circa 1850 and can be found on the 1880 census in Marshall Co MS, married to Harriet Echols(spelled Acres on marriage license). Their marriage license was witnessed by a Solomon McKinney.

The 1880 census indicates that he, along with his parents, were born in TN. Are there any long lost siblings by this name in your family records?

(I don't have all) You have asked about a Sarah McKinnie, that was married to Isaac Ricks, and was the daughter of Barnaby McKinnie. Here is the info she has...Sarah married Isaac Ricks about 1690 in Isle of Wight, Va. Sarah was born in North Carolina. Sara's was the daughter of Barnaby McKinnie and Mary Exum.

Barnaby McKinnie was born about 1673 in Isle of Wight Co. Va; died about 1740 in Edgecomb Cl, NC. Mary Exum was born about 1689 in North Carolina and died in Edgecomb Cl, NC. And the name of Barnaby's mother is Elizabeth.
