I am beginning to research my grandmother's family. Her parents were Leader P. Arney and Sarah McKinnon in Bangor, Marshall Co., IA. I think I may have found Sarah in 1870 Census in Bangor with father, Angus, and mother, Barbary. She is listed as age 11 and is the only child. Leander and Sarah named their first son Angus, so the connection is there no matter how slim. My grandmother was Ruby May (Arney) Jones and lived in Fullerton, CA with her husband, Walter and 2 sons.
