Save your time looking for the parents of Joseph McKinnon. There is nothing in those books in Columbiana Co. except theories. I have,as have others, worked on this problem for over 30 years and still haven't an concrete evidence as to Joseph's parents. I even visited Scotland twice and still didn't come with proof.
Incidently,I was born and raised in E.Liverpool and had access to all the records there,plus McKinnon families.
