Surnames: McLemore, Brinson
Research of my son-in-law's lineage leads to Mary A. McLemore, 7-23-1843 Shelby Co., TX, to 5-22-1919 Weatherford, Custer Co., OK.
She is identified by records as a daughter of W. Adkin McLemore, c1806 GA to 2-16-1881 Shelby Co., TX, and Susan A. Brinson, c1817 GA to bef1870 Shelby Co., TX. She had 4 known siblings - Matthew William, James S., Elizabeth M. and John T. McLemore.
Family oral tradition and photographs identify Native American lineage in Mary and any help would be appreciated with McLemore family history to identify this line.
