Bonnie McMinn
Bonnie Rhodes McMinn, 70, of Granite Falls, formerly of Hendersonville, died Saturday, March 28, 2009, at the Brian Center Viewmont in Hickory.
She was born in Henderson County to the late Casper Rhodes and the late Luella Hodges Rhodes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Willie McMinn.
She lived most of her life in Henderson County. She was a graduate of the Ninth Avenue High School in Hendersonville. She retired as a certified nursing assistance. She was a member of Life Center, Church of God in Christ.
She is survived by a son, Julius Bernard McMinn of Granite Falls; a sister, Majorie (Dr. John C.) Reid of Fayetteville; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be at 4 p.m. today at the Life Center, Church of God in Christ, 656 Cherry St., Hendersonville. The Supt. J. Elwood Gatlin and Elder John Gary will officiate. Viewing will be from 3 to 4 p.m. today at the church.
Wilson Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.
