The name "McMorran" or perhaps "McMurrin" seems to be restricted in Ireland to the Glennan / Tyholland / Donagh areas - mostly Protestant, they seem to have disappeared now from the Phone books etc - I recently obtained data of the Glennan Presbyterian Church, near Glaslough, Co. Monaghan & the McMurrin name is very prominent in these Records
