The family branch I'm researching is yet another John McNamara and I don't have much to go on. Most I have learned from one of his son's cemetery records. But here is what I have:
John McNamara B: Ireland married Bridget Tully B: Ireland. I'm not sure if married in Ireland or after they immigrated. They had one son (I suspect other children but have no record) Their son David Dennis McNamara B: 17 Aug of (I have 2 birth years 1863 on most census and 1866 on cemetery records)in Leland, IL. D: 2 Mar 1928 in Lynch, Boyd Co., NE. He is buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, Bonesteel, SD. In his younger manhood he was a salesman but for most of his adult life worked for C.N.W. Railroad Company at the time of his death he was Telegraph Operator but held many different positions throughout the years. There is no death certificate on file for him.
David Dennis married Mary Emma Livey (1891 ish I don't have the exact date but I belive in or around LaSalle, Dixon, Amboy or Walnut areas) I have a picture of her that was taken in LaSalle that is suppose to have been taken just before her marriage. She was the daughter of Dan and Mary Livey. She was B: 1 Sep 1869 in Amboy, Bureau Co., IL D: 27 Aug 1949 in York, York Co., NE and is buriedin St. Joseph Cemetery in York.
To David Dennis and Mary Emma were born 6 children: Charles Francis (my Great Grandfather) B: 15 Jan 1892 in Walnut, Bureau Co., IL D: 28 Nov 1917, but I don't know where or how or where he is buried. His death information I learned from my Great Grandmother's obit.; Ruth Irene B: 24 Oct 1893 North Platte, NE D: 10 Jan 1894 Cowansville, Armstrong, PA. She is buried in Guardian Angel Cemetery. She married Peter J. Finn.; Earl D. B: 22 Aug 1893 in Maxwell, NE D: 4 Feb 1966 in Chicago. He is buried in Guardian Angel Cemetery. He was a WW1 vet but never married.; Mabel A. B: 18 Aug 1898 in Maxwell, NE became an OP Dominican Nun after 1920, but lived in Queens Village, NY in 1949 and in Chicago 1960 & 1966 this is according to mother's and brothers' obituaries. I don't have death information for her. When became Nun took name of Sr. Mary Amy. She was the twin sister to Mary Hazel.; Mary Hazel B: 18 Aug 1898 Maxwell, NE D: 7 June 2001 York, York Co., NE. She is buried in Rosemond Cemetery just outside of York. She married George Pittman in 1922 in Bonesteel, SD.; The last child born was John William B: 12 Feb 1905 in Sumner, NE D: 10 Mar 1960 in Chicago of TB. He is buried in Guardian Angel Cemetery, Kitanning, PA in Ruth Irene's family plot with Ruth's married family and brother Earl. John William never married.
This family lived in IL, NE and SD until Ruth married and later moved to PA.
I would appreciate the assistance of anyone with any connections or suggestions to help me locate the missing links in this family chain.
