MUSCATINE - Cecil D. McNeal, 83, formerly of 212 1/2 E Second St., died Friday, June 2, 2000, at the Crescent Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Graveside services will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery. The Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
Mr. McNeal was born on March 14, 1917, in South English, the son of Samuel Alonzo and Maude Stakey McNeal. He married Vera Wright in 1936. She preceded him in death.
He was a toolmaker by trade.
Survivors include two sons, Stanley Dean McNeal of Hawaii, and Marion Leroy McNeal of Rockford, Ill.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one sister, Mrs. Enid Gordon of Kansas, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Vera.
