Not sure if I had replied to this. Marriage records for Grace and Alvin McPeek can be found at the Sherburne History Site. There are other records at that site pertaining to Grace Mergel. You will find US census records for her thru 1910.

Mary Lucy McPeek was one of Alexander McPeek's sisters. I check my records and I noticed I am lacking information for Moscoe. If he was your father, I would love some help in filling in the missing information I am lacking for him. A lot of my information comes from a descendent of Milo McPeek, who was one of the three children Mary Lucy had before she married John Anderson. You indicate Mary Lucy only had two. All three children can be found living with their grandfather, James McPeek, according to the 1900 census. I have the birthdate for Mary Lucy from her father's pension records and I have estimated her death date based on Moscoe's birth year. Maybe you have better information that I do. In the 1910 census John Morgan Anderson is listed as a widow with Moscoe the youngest child. I have a copy of Moscoe's death record as well as one for John Morgan Anderson. Can you send me your e-mail address and we can compare our notes? Mine is stevemcpeek@hotmail.com

hello. my great uncle, william (bill) mcpeek, was the son of harry mcpeek, who had moved from trenton NJ - sussex county - to milwaukee, WI sometime around 1930 and resettled there. his brother, my grandpa, paul everett mcpeek, and my dad, william alan mcpeek, and mom, moved, along with the family, including my uncle and aunt, to dallas/fort worth, TX, from 1966-1969. since then, my gramma, shirley jean mcpeek, who was married to paul everett, and my uncle, kevin wade mcpeek, moved to Monument, CO in 1995. my aunt, kristin mcpeek, also relocated from TX to CO in 1995. in texas, only my brother, Paul Samuel McPeek, sister, Valerie Kay McPeek, and me, Darlene Michelle McPeek, remain in TX (i am in the process of trying to relocate to the EU). the mcpeeks, according to research done by my great uncle bill, had split off from the original NJ family, originally settled in NJ in 1850 (ezekiel mcpeek, the immigrant, had a son, jonathan mcpeek-born in 1850? orso - was a private in the revolutionary war-you probably have this information), i believe, from ireland and possibly prior to that, in the Peek Mountain area of the Lake District in England (called little scotland). however, not sure about that... (possibly from ireland) to branches in OH and W VA. as my line came from NJ to WI to TX, i do not know much, personally, about the OH and W VA branches, but have seen a lot of information on these on the net (particularly rootsweb). good luck with your search! please let me know if i can help you further...best of luck, darlene

Kim
My Nancy McPeek was born Nov. 4th, 1851 in Washington, Ohio. That could be a city, town or county. She and her husband Jacob Andrews were my great-grandparents.I have a picture of her holding me as a baby. I also have a large picture of Nancy and Jacob hanging in my foyer entrance along with my other great-grandparents and grandparents. Nancy and Jacob were the parents of Elmer, Fay, Irvin,James, Maud, Orville, Ada and Grover. Grover, my Grandfather, was the youngest. My searching has found Nancy's father, Elam McPeek. She had two sisters, Mary and Sarah. Does this sound like we are on the same track. My email address is jacka191@aol.com

Hi Kim
I have an undocumented Elam McPeek as Nancy McPeek's father. This could be true, or a joke or somebody's way of recording unknown males into their family pedigree. It just came to me that ELAM is "male" spelled backwards. Food for thought......
Jack
jacka191@aol.com

Hi Kim

Nancy's father.....thanks for the name of Alexander S. McPeek. I can't remember where the name ELAM McPeek (MALE in reverse) came from and I am not accepting it until something documents it. Thanks for your reply and please excuse me for posting two copies of my reply message to you.

But so far I have no real solid lead directives and the name Nancy keeps me going in several directions.
Thanks again, Jack

Helen
In your first submitted message you said that Elam McPeek was the father of Nancy McPeek. I believe this Nancy is my relative. I would like for you to tell me how you have come about this information so I could research it further. I would be glad to help you with further info on Nancy if I'm convinced that this is my Nancy (my ggg-grandmother)
Thanks, Jack Allinger jacka191@aol.com
PS.
My Nancy McPeek was born Nov 4th, 1851 in Washington, Ohio. She married Jacob Andrews b. 1833 in Marion Co, Ohio. I have a marriage date of Aug 13, 1870. 18 years difference in their ages. They were the parents of Elmer, Fay, Irvin, James, Maud, Orville and Grover (my Grandfather).Jacob died in 1910 and Nancy died in 1938 (I was 8 years old when she died). They are both buried in Decatur, Illinois. How does this compare with your research.
Jack Allinger, jacka191@aol.com

McPeek, Lucinda E. McPeek and Thomas McPeek.

I don't have much on their children. I have plenty on Daniel's ancestors.
