Help...If I ask this often enough, someone will be able to give me the answer.
Susan, married to Joseph Oswald (March 28, 1861) mother of Hugh Forrest, Herbert Alexander, William Morgan, Benjamin Scott, Edward Ellsworth and others..My in-laws insist she was Indian , but I have never been able to ascertain the tribal connection, or where she was from (I suppose WV since they were married there), her parentage or anything about her. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated as this lady is as much an enigma to me as old Alexanders parentage. I really would like to put her to rest and if there is Indian blood, I would love to know the history of it. Rosella
