Charles McQuillan was born in Auckland in 1866 the son of William McQuillan, soda water manufacturer and Elizabeth nee Dickson.
I have the birth certificate (thought he might be my Charles McQuillan, but he wasn't).
I am travelling at the moment but am happy to scan it and send it to you once I get back home in two weeks.
