Help, Matilda was born in 1815. Had a brother, James Ezra. She married John Lint in 1833 in Holmes Co, Ohio. A book at our library here in Mi, says James Ezra gave her away. She had 8 children in the 1850 census in Knox Co, Ohio. Twins at 16 years old and the youngest at a year. But my granfather Cameron Lint, born in 1847 has Matilda and John as his parents. This is on his death certificate.There is no Cameron listed on the census. He could have been with relatives at the time of the census. Also there is only one James Ezra that I can find anywhere and he is much older then my James Ezra. I can not find any more about these two. Now, my site coordinator for Lint says John McQuiston and Nancy Bowers is Matildas parents, but this deffenetly is wrong. Please help, there must be connections to the McQuistons of the tri county area in Ohio. Holmes, Tuscawaras, and Cochocton. As this is were all my Lint relatives are also from.
