for Michele Swab-Jones; Hello, I am definitely related to the people you mentioned. James McRann and Ellen McCaffery came to Upper Canada (Ontario) in 1850 from Ireland, Co. Leitrim. They settled and farmed near Ailsa Craig, North of London, Ont. I believe Alf was my father's (William Harvey McRann)cousin. I am also related to the Bice's and some of them from the Detroit area came to visit me in Toronto about 20 or so years ago. I also have a copy of a fairly complete family tree (somewhere). I was also visited by Roy McRann and his brother (my father's cousins) from Dawson Creek in Northern Alberta. They were well-known ranchers. My father was born in Sparta, Ontario in 1908 and he had a brother and 5 sisters. His father (my grandfather) was William McRann and was married to Catherine Eunice Lintott. Later, they moved to Saskatchewan and then Manitoba. Sorry, I am at a disadvantage here, writing this from my work without the records in front of me. I'm nat sure this will reach you. - I just noticed you posted your message 5 years ago. It appears we are somehow related. Sheldon McRann - Toronto
