I am looking for the parents’ or siblings’ names associated with Margaret McRea. Possible spellings of the last name are McCrea or McRae. One book about Montana history gives her first name as Elizabeth, but I believe she went by Margaret or Maggie. According to a family Bible, Margaret was born in Roxboro, Canada in 1851. She lived for a time in Minnesota and married Andrew Jackson Sperry there. Andrew Sperry and his brother, Bert (Burton) had already been to Montana, and in 1869, Andrew returned to Minnesota to marry Margaret. Andrew and Margaret were married on 16 April, 1870 in Minnesota, and then came to Montana, where they settled. Margaret was the daughter of a minister. She died on 30 July, 1933, in Vancouver, Washington. Andrew died in Missoula, Montana, on 9 January, 1908. I have been looking for information about Margaret for many years and would appreciate any help I can get.
