I am trying to trace my GG Grandfather George McRea, b. abt. 1835 in Scotland. He came to the US Bef. 1860. He was a miner or mining engineer. He married Mary Elizabeth (Possibly Smith) b. 15 Mar 1847 in Ireland abt. 1864 in San Francisco area. She came from Ireland as a Nanny at age 12 with an unknown family. After their marriage they went to Austin, Lander County, Nevada where George worked in the mines. They had Edward, b. 15 Nov 1867 and Mary (Molly) Elizabeth, b 17 Jul 1870. Mary left with the children and went back to San Francisco because the conditions in the mining camp were so bad. Mary and George never got back to gether again. Mary and the children ended up in Junction, Lemhi County, Idaho. George may have ended up in Ely, White Pine County, Nevada. Thank you
