I wonder if anyone has any information on Duncan McIntyre (born c1837) and Janet McTaggart (born c1860), both from Islay.
Duncan's parents were Dugald McIntyre and Jane Barr and Janet's parents Neil McTaggart and Janet Smith.
They married in 1860 in Kilbirnie, Dalry and went on to have the following children:
Neil born Glasgow c1861
Jane born Glasgow c1862
Jessie born Glasgow c1863
Duncan born Glasgow c1865
John born Glasgow c1868
Dougald born Glasgow 1869
Flora born Greenock c1871
James born Greenock c1875
Twins Hugh & Catherine born c1880
Mary born Greenock c1889
I can find info on the children in various census but seem to draw a blank with Duncan and Janet.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
