I am looking for information on EdwardEdmond Meadows who, according to the book, "Cabins on the Loop" came to what is now Fayette County from Kanawha in WV.

Is this the same Edward/Edmond Meadows who appears in the 1824 and 1827 tax lists of Logan County and is this the same Edward Meadows who married Sarah Calloway in Greenbrier County on May 5, 1798.

I have traced my James Meadows to his 1830 marriage to Rebecca Arthur in Fayette County. On James 1883 death record it states that he was the son of Edward Meadows. Also, in the 1830 marriages of Fayette County I found a Sarah Meadows who married Reuben Kelly. Sarah and Reuben do not appear in the 1840 census of Fayette County. I have found information which states that Sarah and Reuben left this area and settled in Missouri.

Does anyone have any information to prove or disprove my thoughts on James and Sarah being brother and sister? Do you have children for Edward and Sarah Calloway Meadows?
