I am seeking information about James G. Meadville who served with the 208th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Company C (Civil War).

I am interested in any information about anyone who served with the 208th Pennsylvania.

I would love any info on Graham McCamant Meadville and family he would be my great, great grand father as well, and I would love to see the photos and diary from his time in the civil war. my line would go Graham McCamant Meadville, his son Joshua William Meadville my great grandfather, his son jack w meadville my grandfather, his son james w meadville my dad, then me Justin W Meadville. please if anyone has info on Graham McCamant Meadville or Joshua William Meadville please post it here and/or email me at superheroauto@yahoo.com thank you all

Graham McCamant Meadville was my Great, Great Grandfather. I have photos and a diary he wrote from the Civil War and am doing research on him for my Mother who is in a nursing home. Any info you may have would be greatly appreaciated. My Grandfather was Peter Russell Meadvill, one of 11 children of Graham M. Meadville. My Mother is Mary Margaret Meadvill, daughter of Peter Russell Meadville. Thank you,

I am also researching the Meadville line. My ancestor is Ruth Meadville who married Caleb Mendenhall Shugert. She had brothers named Peter and James, sisters named Mary, Susan, Ann and Temperance. Her mother's maiden name was Bond but I don't have a first name. The Peter Meadville I found in the 1850 census for Huntingdon County, PA had a wife named Mary. Are we researching the same line.

Ginger, I have a Ann Madowell born in VA who married Roth Carter born in PA and they had 7 children. Lived in PA. Son Alvin Brown Carter one of the first settlers of Iowa, farmers. Could you help me with Ann's line? I am so excited! LSH

Looking for info and ancestors of Peter Meadville (may have been spelled Madowell) b. 8 Oct 1799 d. 30 April 1862 (PA??). His wife was Elizabeth? d. 16 July 1828. They had at least two children: James A. b. 1826 and d. 16 July 1839 and Elizabeth b. 8 July 1828 in PA and d. 8 Nov 1894 in Menlo, IA.

Peter's father's name was James Meadville and his mother's name was Rachel ?. Peter Meadville also had at least one sibling, a sister named Ann who married a Roth Carter.

Joshua Wm. Meadville was my grandfather. I need to know where and when he was born. He married Emma Josephine Powers in 1907 in North Bend, NE. I think his father was Graham McC Meadville.
