      <description>Graham McCamant Meadville was my Great, Great Grandfather. I have photos and a diary he wrote from the Civil War and am doing research on him for my Mother who is in a nursing home. Any info you may have would be greatly appreaciated. My Grandfather was Peter Russell Meadvill, one of 11 children of Graham M. Meadville. My Mother is Mary Margaret Meadvill, daughter of Peter Russell Meadville.       <description>I am also researching the Meadville line.  My ancestor is Ruth Meadville who married Caleb Mendenhall Shugert.  She had  brothers named Peter and James, sisters named Mary, Susan, Ann and Temperance.  Her mother's maiden name was Bond but I don't have a first name.  The Peter Meadville I found in the 1850 census for Huntingdon County, PA had a wife named Mary.  Are we researching the same line.</description>

      <description>Looking for info and ancestors of Peter Meadville (may have been spelled Madowell) b. 8 Oct 1799 d. 30 April 1862 (PA??). His wife was Elizabeth? d. 16 July 1828. They had at least two children: James A. b. 1826 and d. 16 July 1839 and Elizabeth b. 8 July 1828 in PA and d. 8 Nov 1894 in Menlo, IA.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Peter's father's name was James Meadville and his mother's name was Rachel ?. Peter Meadville also had at least one sibling, a sister named Ann who married a Roth Carter.</description>
