judy Judy
saw your message while looking for any info on a meda family tree. As you say not too many meda's in the phone books or anywhere else! I'm from upstate New York but now live in Toronto,Canada. I remember visiting some relatives in San Francisco in the 60,s. I believe they had a small winery in Napa Valley at the time. Both however were in their 70,s at that time.I remember the names Primo and Secundo. I visited them with my very briefly with my dad on my return from Vietnam. I have no other information than that. My grandmother on my father's was a Meda and came from the village of Sanico in the area of Torino. Are any of your ancestors from that area? Look forward to hearing from you.

I know that we had no relatives in the bay area. I talked to my sister and she said that Primo and Secoundo were very common names. Since Primo was the only one to migrate to the States I don't guess that we are related. It was nice just talking to
someone else named Meda.

Steve: I am not sure what part of Italy my
grandpartents were from, but my grandfaters
name was Primo and he had a brother named Secoundo. Secoundo never came to America though. Primo married Angalina and they lived in Oakland. She spoke english, but he
never learned how. My Godfather had a winery in Gilroy, California called Live Oaks
Vinyards. His name was Pete Scaliotti. The
next time I write my Dad I will find out what
part of Italy his partents were from. I am
sorry I didn't question my grandmother more to find out there history. Nice talking to you.

Meda

Always was the only Meda in our community. I
grew up the San Francisco Bay area. I am
wondering if any of the other Medas on the web are related. My grandparents came to the
United States from Italy, and settled in Oakland, California. They had two sons Arillio who died as a child in an auto accident, and my
father Renaldo (Monte) who is going to be 90
on his next birthday. Any body out there related?
