When I was 1 years old, my mother, Frances Eleanar Johnson took me from my family. When I was 2, I was taken from her. It had been 30 years when my fathers side found me. Now I am looking for my mother. Need to find her. About 7 years ago, she looked for me, but to no prevail. with this is a letter she sent to Maury Povich. Just trying to get this out, cause I know she lived in Arizona at some point, so maybe she is still there.

Juana Maria Montoya - 27 Feb 1886 San Nepomuceno Mission Church (Record of Saint Anthony Church of Penasco). This is my Grandmother Juanita, she married Remigio VALDEZ.

Look for the original handwritten records from the microfilmed Baptismal records. We want a digital copy of these documents. you and I can work on transcribing them. We would also need the exact documentation reference for each digital copy.

As to take the LDS Baptismal citations from LDS search you sent him of the children of Francisco Montoya and wife Maria Gertrudes Chavez.

We want him to find the original handwritten copy of the microfilmed baptismal records noted on the citation pages. It's possible that our Juan and Dolores Montoya were godparents of at least one of the children.

It's possible their family relationship may be stated. We would only need digital copies of the records that our Juan and Dolores appear in.

I think this amount of work is a good start and won't be overwelming. What do you think?

Hi,, I am a female from Sri Lanka. My dad used to have a pen pal from Phillipines called Shirley Medina and according to him she got married and moved to the USA. Around 1979 Willie R. McGhee was stationed in Angeles, City Phillipin Islands. He was dating a young lady named Luth Q. Medina born on March 25, 1953. Luth and Willie had a son named Willie R. McGhee Jr. He has been trying to locate his son for many years. Obituary: Marcello Medina

Marcello (Marc) Medina passed away on April 2 , 2008 at the Sharp Medical Center in Chula Vista after a brief illness. He was born in Wagon Mound, New Mexico on May 20, 1918 to Paulina Lujan and Maximiliano Valdez Medina. He was raised as a kid by Ed Sr. and Bertha Madrid whom he talked about so fondly and grew up with their kids Art Madrid, Mayor of La Mesa and Estela and Ed Jr. both deceased. He graduated with a bachelors degree from Woodbury as Magna Cum Laude. Marc did many things over his lifetime, one of which he was very proud of was his service with the Counter Intelligence Corp of the US Army during WWII as 1st LT. He worked with Richfield Oil; had his own business selling tractors and other heavy equipments to build highways in Mexico. He came to San Diego in 1955, had his furniture business. He has been in the selling business all his life - selling Encyclopedias and Real Estate He had his own Real Estate office. He was the first broker of Mint Financial and Meridian Real Estate in National City. He retired and went on happily living at the Veterans home of Chula Vista and at their residence in Chula Vista. He was full of life, very active taking care of his health until three weeks before his death. He left behind his wife of 18 years, Nely Medina, two children from his previous marriage Mary Mazon and Paul Medina of Tucson, Arizona and five grandchildren, Patricia of New York, Alexis of Tucson, both lawyers and David, Jeremy and Rosalinda; brothers- Emelio (Rita) Valdez , Santa Fe, NM; Anselmo (Lina) Valdez; Andrew (Fabbie) Valdez and Tony Valdez, all of Las Vegas, New Mexico; Alex (Nora) Valdez, San Angelo, TX; sisters - Aurora Herrera, Denver; Virginia (Wilfred) Quintana, Santa Fe, NM; Beatrice Baca, Las Vegas, and brothers and sisters-in-law Ted (Bess) Nacino; Antonio (Proserpina) Nacino; Irma Nacino all of San Diego CA; Oscar (Delilah) Nacino of Louisana and Remedios (Desmond) Brown of Brunei and numerous nephews , nieces, great grand children and friends . Funeral Services will be at the Greenwood Memorial Park & Mortuary, 4300 Imperial Avenue, San Diego, CA 92113 on Sunday, April 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Salli Lynn Chapel. There will be a funeral mass and a military funeral service before Interment. Immediately following the funeral sevices friends are invited to gather at their residence.

I was playing on the computer and thought it would be fun to Google all my names to see what comes up. When I Googled Theresa Ann Medina it brought me to this. Funny how 9 years after this was posted and after we have already spoken to each other I just now find this post. Know that am happy and doing good. I never knew my grandfather on my mothers side, but my grandma is named Adela Guerrera, formerly Medina. My grandfather was on the national baseball team for a few years as a pitcher I believe. I'm also interested because I was told we (my family on my mothers part) has some japanese somewhere in there and my mothers family seems much more interesting because my fathers side is really messed up. Grandmother Rosenda Medina married Dionico Heredia in Mexico; they had four children; he died, and she then married Domicio Heredia, possibly a brother or cousin to first husband. They had four children. Children are:
Eugenio/Eugene; Joseph; Sam; Julia; Mary and Frank Paul. Two unknown children possibly born between Eugene and Joseph. All children born Chihuahua, Mexico, migrated to El Paso, Texas - later some lived Oklahoma and back to El Paso. Eugenio is found living in Juarez when brother Sam died in 1959 El Paso. Im Mekahlo (Joe) Medina... born in albuquerque... My dad Jose I.C. Medina was born in or near Las Vegas... one of 9: cruz, ted, josie, mary, antonio, ben, angelo, and rosie.
I think my grandfather's name is Benses.
I'm one of the youngest grandchildren and was born after both my father's parents died.
I also believe my grandmother's name is Eppie... her madian last name was Griego.
Any help trying to nail down my family tree would be greatly appreciated.
