My mother-in-law, Rosemary Meenaghan, was born ca 1905 in Bellmulet, Co. Mayo. She was the d/o John and Honor Riley Meenaghan. She, and two of her siblings, Bridget and Patrick, came to US in ca 1915. They were orphans, the mother dying, probably at the birth of Rosemary, the father shortly before their leaving Ireland. The North Mayo Hist. Center sent me an assessment, which contained the following, of which I would receive on purchasing the History Report for $260. (I can't afford.)This is what they outlined: (I have none of these records)
1- the brth/bapt of five of Johns seven known siblings
2- the marriage of his brother William, and births/bapt of eight of known children of this marriage. Deaths of three of the children.
3- marriage of his sister Catherine and births/bapt of seven known issue of this marriage.
4- marriage of John and Honor (Reilly) Meenaghan.
5- births/bapt of four known issue of this marriage.
6- the returns submitted by Patrick Meenaghan (Johns father) in 1901 census.
Can anyone connect with this family? Tony, do you have any records for this family?
Shirley
