My name is Cheryl. My mom's name is Rosemarie Mele. She was born in Arlington, MA on 5/7/47, her mother is Marietta Mele. Marietta was born in 1918 in Calabria, Italy and moved to Boston when she was 4 years old. She lived at 52 Fairmont Street in Arlington. She fell in love with a man that lived across the street from her at 51 Fairmont Street. Marietta eventually got pregnant by this man (around her age) that lived across the street. This family moved away before my mom was born and to this day my mom never knew who her family was. Marietta is now stricken with advanced stages of Alhezimers (sp?) and I cant ask her for any details. My mom is now 61 years old and would love for nothing more than to meet her dad. Im not even sure if he is still alive. But I would love nothing more to find out who this man is and if he is alive, I would like to meet him. He needs to know that he has another daughter.
