Jacob Mellons born 1798

I am looking for information on Jacob Mellons, born about 1798, possibly in the District of Columbia. Need to find his parents. His father may have been from Kentucky and his mother may have been from the District of Columbia. Had several children, one of which was John J. Mellons. John J. had Clifton Rice Mellons. I would appreciate any and all help anyone could give me. Thanks.
