Classification: Query
Surnames: Menard, Maynard
Looking for information from the Canada side Maynards, can't seem to find anyone researching or has access that can partially help. (I'm in US) Been searchin forever for some hits on Canada side. Information I have:
HUS: Alexander Maynard b. abt Oct 1845 CAN
WIF: Josephine Benner b. abt 1851 CAN, not 100%
when they came to US, unknown date (she ended up living with her son showing US Census in 1920 & 1930)
CHILDREN:
Arthur P. b. 2 Nov 1874 CAN [My Great Grandfather] got his parents from his marriage cert.
Delia b. abt. Oct 1880 CAN
Mary b. abt. Mar 1884 CAN or Massachusetts
Joseph b. 20 Sep 1885 CAN
Emil Philip b.18 Aug 1886 (I think Montreal) from US Census and 1917 Draft Reg. card
Alexander J. b. 1889-1890 Massachusetts
Now on Emil's Draft Reg Card that shows him spelling his name Menard at top then signing it Maynard I believe or at least other documents spelled Maynard. So it seems that he may have just spelled it. Shows on censuses as Maynard.
Any case looking for parents listed above to get the Canadian side information, HELP would be so greatly appriciated.
Thank you Alfred G. Maynard (al@agmaynard.info)
