my grandmothers name was viola but my mother had told me her real name was angelina.she was sent to ive with relatives when her parents died and the fmily had a daughter angelina so they used my grandmothers middle name viola.my grandmothers brother was named anthony.I also remeber the name Rose but i dont remember if she was a sibling or related by marriage.her last name was tocco.(sp)and i remember the name Carmella.sorry my grandmother died when i was very young in 1977 and my mom died 14 years ago so these tidbits are very small.I do remember my mom saying someone in the family had race horses.this was of interest to me because i had horses growing up.

Thank You,
I'm out of town right now. I called the house last night. Philip was not at home. He knows very little. I meet Philip thru my 32 yr old son, I liked him right away. He speaks about his grandmother off and on with loving memories. He was homeless and indigent when he meet me, he's had it pretty rough........ My husband and I are trying right now to get his ID's so that he can get a Texas ID, so that he may get a job. It should be here in the next week we all hope. He stays at my house off and on and then he goes to a few friends homes to stay also. If he gets no job in or near my hometown, I'm bringing my son and Philip to Ft Worth to look for jobs. Also do you have any photos of Philip when he was growing up? He has nothing right now of his past history, except a social security card in his wallet. We are doing all we can to make sure he has a warm bed, food, and little things he might need before he moves on. I believe Philip says he located his brother at my space. Thank you again for answering my post. If you will send me your phone number, Philip will probably call you. Please be sure to put Meola in the subject line. I never open emails from people not on my friends list. Ann G Lockhart Texas levitaann@yahoo.com

I have sent you 2 emails to your yahoo address. Some of the names are wrong. Here are the correct names.
Elisa Julia Turkmany DOB 28 June 1978
Dana Patricia Turkmany DOB 31 DEC 1979
Ross Bennett Meola DOB 13 March 1985
Philip Raymond Meola DOB 4 June 1988
I am Linda Elizabeth Meola and above named are my children. It looks like you're doing this search for my son Philip. He was raised by his paternal grandmother, Doris Galvin. His father's name is Louis Aubrey Galvin. Though on his original birth certificate it lists his father as unknown, at his father's request, at that time.

Hi! I'm Meghan Solembrino, daughter of Joseph Marce Solembrino, who is the eldest son to Anthony Joseph Solembrino and Margaret Cello Solembrino. Anthony J. Solembrino is my grandfather, and one of the many siblings to Andrew (Andy) Solembrino. I believe Maggie Meola is one of his sisters as well as Helen (don't know last name.) My grandfather passed away, I think sometime in the early 2000's or late 1990's. Margaret just passed away August 2007. My father, Joseph M., passed away Nov. 2004.
Just wanted to say this, my father LOVED Andrew Solembrino, his uncle and wanted to name one of his son's Andrew after his favorite uncle. I turned out to be a girl, so wasn't me, but my sister is Andrea Jo, named after our infamous Uncle Andy that we never got to know.
I have attached 2 pic's of my father.
He was a singer entertainer in Ashtebula, OH- was well known in the family and town.
One of the pic's shows him with a microphone- he had won a local singing contest on the radio in Chicago, Ill.
Ashley:

I found your post again while surfing online; I'm your dad's younger half-brother Jonathan. My mom is Sunny/Selma and she lives in Florida; I live with my wife and two kids (they'd be your cousins) outside Seattle.

Tried writing you before but never heard back, maybe I got the email address wrong.

the last time I saw your dad was at grandpa Tootie's funeral; it was all kind of weird because I had just gotten married a couple of days before. When I was a little kid he and sissy (your aunt Andrea) would babysit me; I remember spending a lot of time playing in the snow.

Anyway, if you want to reach me you can always email me at jonathan.meola@gmail.com; I'll copy this message and send it to your xxshoppahallicxx@netscape.net account.

It's been a long time since your message. My grandfather's father was from Avellina - his name was Nicolo Meola. When he came to America, he was a tailor/dressmaker - so that could be a similar occupation. I don't know what his family did in Italy, but we are looking for a connection - we don't know the names of Nicolo's parents. He married Caterina DeLeone in New York.
