Stephen Mallan Meriwether, 52, of Lynchburg passed away Monday, April 6, 2009. He was the husband of Lisa Kennedy Meriwether.
Born April 3, 1957 in Lynchburg he was the son of Mary Stephen Mallan Meriwether of Lynchburg and the late Hamilton Otey Meriwether, Jr. He was an employee of Georgia Pacific and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his son, Locke Kennedy Meriwether of Lynchburg and two brothers, Hamilton Otey Meriwether, III and wife Teresa of Charlottesville and Edward Douglas Meriwether and wife Beth of Roanoke.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 9th. at 2:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. John Scholer officiating. A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held for family and friends at Monte Carlo Restaurant Wednesday, April 8th. at 7:00 pm.
In Lieu of flowers please consider memorial contributions to Boonsboro Elementary School PTA or The American Cancer Society.
Diuguid Wiggington Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
