The body of Mrs. Camille Meriwether Hardy, 27, of 1548 Laurel street, who died yesterday at 9:40 p.m. in the Baton Rouge General hospital after a three weeks' illness, was to be taken today to Beaumont where funeral services are scheduled tomorrow at 4 p.m at the Boulevard Christian church.
A native of Texas, Mrs. Hardy had lived in Baton Rouge during the past two years. She was a member of the Boulevard Christian church of Beaumont, Tex.
Surviving are her husband, William P. Hardy, and their 17-month-old daughter, Sherburne Carolyn, of his city; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Meriwether, of Beaumont; three sisters, Betty Sue, Elizabeth and Becky Ann, all of Beaumont; one brother, Jack, of Anhauc, Tex., and an aunt, Mrs. C. H. Charlton, Jr., of this city.
