Clark - Merriweather
Miss Bertie Clark became the bride of Lieutenant George K. Merriweather of Dallas at high noon Tuesday at the First Methodist Church, with Rev. E. B. Hawk officiating. Miss Dorothy Duncan played the processional and recessional marches.

Reflecting the true conventional military wedding spirit, the Clark-Merriweather marriage was hurriedly planned. Lieutenant and Mrs. Merriweather left immediately after the ceremony for San Antonio, where he is stationed at Camp Travis.

Following the ceremony an informal reception was tendered the bride and bridegroom at the home of Mrs. Curtis Hertig. Mrs. Ed Rice and Mrs. Walter Dugger assisted Mrs. Hertig as hostesses.

Mrs. Merriweather has been a popular visitor in the city for the past several years while she made her home alternately in Fort Worth and Dallas. She is the daughter of Mr. J. C. Clark.
