I am trying to connect Meriwether Lewis, who had a boat built in Pittsburgh in the summer 1803, to Marie Lousia Murphy and her daughter Agatha Murphy who was the 1/2 sister to King Louis XVI.

Agatha Murphy was evaluacted to Asylum PA in 1794 by the efforts of Albert Gallatin, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and Robert Morris. She was an associate of Prince Father Gallitzin and Prince Bishop Talleyrand. Agatha Murphy was to marry Prince Charles Edward Stuart of England before the French Revloution. This family were French shoemakers in Asylum.

Meriwether Lewis' first stop after picking up his new boat in Pittsburgh was Burnot Island and Dr Felix Brunot who was the foster brother of General Lafayette. He was also the personal doctor of General Lafayette at the Battle of Brandwine.

Bishop Talleyrand was the point man in the Louisiana Purchase which was also know as the LaSalle Land Claim. The Murphys belong to the Murphy Guiton Duquesne and LaSalle family of France.
