I have met with a brick wall where my Merrill line is concerned. I am looking for help determining the ancestry of James Lancaster Merrill. The info that I have on him is:
born - approx 1816 Hill, NH; married Clarissa E Page of Sanbornton, NH; 11 known children - Laura E, Miranda J, Freddie L, Viola, Otto Devan, Rodney T, Mary M, Frank Rowell, Edith M, Harry Eugene, & Robert Mack; died Jul 14, 1889 at the Merrimack County Poor House in Boscawen, NH, and buried in the adjacent cemetery. I have reason to believe that he may be linked to the Stanstead, QC Merrills... Any ideas, suggestions, questions, leads of any kind are appreciated & welcomed.
