Adam Byram was born in Virginia (possibly West Virginia) in 1805. He supposedly had six sisters and no brothers. He married Sarah Hand 22 Dec 1831 in Windsor township, Morgan Co., Ohio. In 1834 the Hands moved to Vermillion Co, Indiana. Adam Byram and his buddy, William Byram, bought land in McClean Co, Illinois. About 1845 Adam and William and their wives and children moved to Wapello Co., Iowa. William Byram and Mercy Hand stayed there but Adam Byram and Sarah Hand moved back to Illinois before the 1850 census where they lived with the Hands in Handcock Co.
I would like to contact any descendants of any of the following: Adam's sisters, (Susan), Elizabeth Rude, Rebecca Walker, Sarah Ann Frisbey, Angeline Moses, and Charlotte Rutledge.
