Joseph is my great grandfather chasing any relations that may have emigrated from England like Joseph did.Believe his parents were Joseph and Mary. Joseph was born in 1823 in St Margarets' Leicester he married a Mary Ann Fitzgerald who was Irish who had emigrated to Victoria Australia as a housemaid married in Geelong and then they travelled to Ballarat and then onto Hepburn Springs living in a log hut then onto Daylesford where he built his two homes one on the site of the railway station and then in East St this home built in 1850's still stands today.Believe that he built the old Hepburn Springs Hotel for wine merchant Mr king and his partner Mr Brabant, unfortunately the Hotel was burn down.Would love to hear from any relative thanks
