By way of further clarification, my Miskel relative from Ireland was Michael Miskel (born abt 1825). He was married to a woman named Elizabeth. Elizabeth was also from Ireland but I do not know whether they married in Ireland or in the US. Michael and Elizabeth had five children--all born in the US-- Lawrence Aloysius (1860), James Joseph (1868), Eliza (1875), John (1878), and Edward (1878).
