My name is Tonya Meyn of Ponchatoula, LA. My ancestors relocated to the US from Germany. My great great grandfather was Peter Meyn and my great great grandmother was "Maggie" Meyn. My great grandfather was Henry Meyn and my grandfather was Henry Alvarece Meyn. He had a sister Theresa and a brother Charles. I am sure there were other sisters, but I do not know their names. As far as I know, a brother or cousin of my great great grandfather also came to the US on a ship from Germany. He settled in New Orleans. I know there are alot of people in the New Orleans area with this last name, but that I have never met. There is a bible with a family tree or history kept in it that was owned by my aunt Theresa. Her son Marc probably has it. She passed way a couple of years ago.
