Desire is a CSA veteran. I'm working on getting a death date on his wife. Was supposed to go to Baton Rouge Tuesday, but it fell through.

I'm looking for information on Migues . My great grand mother on my mother side was a Migues. No one knows much information about her. My grand mother died when mama was very young. My mother didn't know much about her mother or her grandmother. This is what I was told about
my great grand mother her name was Mary Migues married to a Joseph Romero . Also looking for information on Desire

Busco familiares con el apellido MIGUES. Una rama salio de Espana para America del Sur a fines de 1700.
El primero que emigro se llamaba Blas Migues
y era hijo de Clemente Migues residente en la Coruna.Segun he podido averiguar el origen era de familias JUDIAS conversas.

Crickett, He was known as "Chief" he was the Chief of police in New Iberia many years ago, his brother was Henry Paul Miguez, his parents were Theodore Miguez and Annette Gary Miguez. But the information I have says he died in 1962. I also have information stating that his name was spelled as: Romaul, Romauld, etc.
But I am interested in what you have, maybe my information is wrong. I am very interested. Peggy

Nola, I just got my computer up this evening. Give me till next weekend, I will check my genealogy -it's printed - so it shouldn't take very long. Unfortunately, I like so many other people are very busy, however, I will get back to you quickly. My cousin from Houston is the one who did most of the research for me on my Miguez branch. Cricket I found Alexander Desire on a family tree in ancestry.com. You have to look under Migues with a z. It has the correct dates and wife. It traces back from him to 1720. Sorry haven't called back it's been crazy at work I am off this weekend I will try to call you then. Josselyn

I am a relative of Desire Migues. My grandfather was Alton "Black" Migues from Biloxi, MS.
