Donna...my dad Bill, was Edward Mikulin's brother. When Uncle Ed and Aunt Sue were alive we spent many, many hours with them and their son Matt. While growing up they either lived in Houston or in Baytown and we would spend nearly every weekend together. Your grandmother, Bonnie or Aunt Sue as we called her was a wonderfully sweet and fun woman. I loved her dearly. She made the best spam salad sandwiches. We loved to spend time in her home. She always made you feel welcome. We played a lot of cards and whenever there was a threat of a hurricane we would always meet at their house for a "hurricane party". A way to ride out the storm. I was saddened even as a teenager when she died. She was one of the sweetest women. Her and my mom were really close and were sister in laws but more importantly friends. I vaguely remember her name as being Bonnie. She told my sister one time that it was a good thing that she was pretty because she certainly couldn't sing. (We were singing Christmas carols or something. And Aunt Sue was right my sister can't sing.) Anyways, we tell that story quite often and it always makes us smile. I have very fond memories of your grandmother.
