I'm trying to piece together a history of his father's family for my son. I have found 1920 Chicago census which shows Michael Milan, b Canada abt 1861; Anna, his wife b. in Wisconsin abt.1867; their daughter Marian O'Donnell b. in Illinois abt 1902; and her infant daughter Anna Mae b. 1919 in Chicago. Marian (known as Mary Ann) was my ex-husband's grandmother. Her daughter, Anna Mae, was called Nancy. Her father's name was Robert O'Donnell. His father was also Robert and his mother was called Biddy. In 1938, Nancy married Fred T Hall b. 8-4-1910 in St. Paul, MN. They had 4 sons. Both Fred and Nancy were deceased by 1956 and the elder 2 of their sons were raised in Boys' Town. The next to the youngest was raised by O'Donnell relatives in Lombard, IL. The youngest son, my son's father, was raised by his grandmother, Marian (Mary Ann) in Miami. She apparently was married three times, second to a Hughes and third to Charlie Hendrickson. This is absolutely all I can find about any of these folks. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
