I am a Milani living in Chicago,Illinois(USA). I have been researching the family history and my grandfather Tommaso Milani was born in Carapelle Calvisio, but others in the family were born in Calascio. I have my grandfathers birth certificate and a Francisco Milani(born around 1849) and a man named Luigi Pasta witnessed his birth. Francisco may be a brother or cousin of Vincenzo Milani, Tomasso's grandfather.

Carol Milani

I don't know much about the Milani's in Herrin, Illinois. When my grandmother, Emilia Milani, immigrated to the United States, the rest of her family immigrated to Buenos Aires, Argentina. She died in 1969 and my mother lost touch with the Milani's in Argentina and in Vittuone.

Ernesto, do you have anything to do with the museum in Cuggiono? My father, Angelo Turni (also Torno) was born in Arconate. The Communale is putting together a book of everyone who left Arconate to come to the United States.

Ernesto, when you visited Herrin, where did you stay and which family did you visit. There is a very large Italian population from Arconate, Vittuone, Cuggiono in Herrin.

E algum site a respeito !!!
Reinaldo Milani
