My father Andrei Milewski, born 1902, emigrated to Canada in 1927. The only family in the Americas would descend from his great-uncles, who reportedly arrived before 1900. My grandfather was called Nicola Varvarin, from HIS grandmother and matriarch. They were in Berezow, near Colomyya, in Galicia (Ukraine, Poland depending on the period).
