Punishment of a Rapist in Kentucky

Barwell, Kentucky, July 7 - Seay J. Miller, the negro charged with the outrage and murder of Mary and Ruby Ray, was hanged at 3:27 o'clock this afternoon and the body burned after being horribly mutilated.

The negro made a speech proclaiming his innocence, but afterwards made a partial confession.
