I found White Orr's Reference Register, a 1918-1919 New York City Directory lists the following under "Dyers and Cleaners" on page 164:

Quenzer & Müller, 1401 Madison Ave

Further down the page it lists:
Schmalzle Bros., 322 Lenox Ave
Schmalzl Jos., 421 Grand
