I am hoping to learn more about an Anne Milne, born 1780 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Married to Adam Gatherer, born 1744 in Aberdeen. Had one child that I know of, named Isabel or Isabella, who married a Joseph Laird. The Lairds and Gatherers left Scotland around 1841 and emigrated to Elora, Ontario, Canada. I am particularly interested in any information that may be known about Anne Milne's parents. I have no names and would love to trace this back further. I believe Anne had a sister named Margaret. Both are, unforunately, common names
