My grandmother was Lula B. Minor and was the daughter of James M. Miner and Ida Frances Johnson Minor. They resided in Plum Branch, McCormick, SC and prior to the formation of McCormick county they were likely from Bordeaux, Abbeville or Edgefield counties. James named his first son William Rufus so I suspect his father was a William or Rufus. His 2nd son was named Henry C.
