Rev AAA. Miner was Alonzo Ames Miner, b. Lempster, NH 17 Aug 1814 ; d. 1895. a school teacher and Principal of the Scientific and Military Academy; ordained Minister of the Universalist Church 1842 in Methuen, MA; Lowell, MA as Associate Pastor and Pastor of the 2nd Universaliset Church of Boston; President of Tufts College, Msdford, MA and returned to Boston in 1874. Narried but no children. He descends from Thomas Minor of Stonington, CT.
