MINES, Alexander George Sidney,

Peacefully at Winbourne Park Nursing Home in Ajax on Monday, July 14, 2008 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Eileen. Loving father of Judy Stronge and her husband Ernie and Michael and his wife Cathy. Proud grandpa of Christina and her husband Sean, Steven and his fiancée Meaghan, Jake and Thomas and great-grandpa of Alannah. Sadly missed by his siblings. Fondly remembered by his many friends. A Celebration of Alex's life will be held at St. George's Anglican Church (77 Randall Drive, Ajax) on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 12:00 noon. Cremation to follow. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Society of Ontario - Durham Chapter and would be greatly appreciated.
