My mother Loretta Mingus (Maiden name) was born to Issac Mingus and Rebecca Bruce in April of 1921. It has been so hard for me to find out anything about her mother Rebecca Bruce Mingus. Rebecca married my grandfather Isaac in 1920, had Mom in 1921, Then Rebecca died in 1923. Someone else raised my Mom from age of 3 yrs. My Mom died in an automobile accident when I was 14. It would mean so much to me to know who her parents were and grandparents too if prssible. Mom had a half sister Named Ailene. Rebecca was Ailene's Mom but had a different Dad. That is all I know. If anyone can help me I would appreciate it so very much!!
