OK-have some more info on my Mittelstadt relations and I am hoping to connect with other family memembers-

Birth of Carl August Mittelstädt

Carl August was born on the 25th of February 1862 at 10 o’clock in the evening. He was the legitimate son of Carl Mittelstädt and Auguste Liebenow residing in Groß Neuendorf. He was christened on the 9th of May by Rosenfeld. Witnesses were 1) the young man Johannes Lempe, 2) the young man Wilhelm Liebenow in Alt Lewin, 3) the young lady Rosalie Krause and 4) young lady Henriette Hennig.

And he has a sister-

Louise Auguste born 10th of December 1863 at 2 o’clock in the morning. Legitimate daughter of Carl Mittelstädt, day laborer, and Auguste Liebenow living in Gross Neuendorf. She was christened on the 20th of December by Rosenfeld. Witnesses were 1) the young man Johannes Lempe, 2) the young man Albert Werk, 3) the young lady Auguste Mikley the merchant’s daughter, and 4) the young lady Clara Schreiber d6 gl.(abbreviations not determined)

And a Brother~

Otto Franz Mittelstädt was born 26th of August 1865 at 9:30 in the morning. He was the legitimate son of Carl Mittelstädt, day laborer, and Auguste Liebenow residing in Gr. Neuendorf. He was christened on the 17th of September by Rosenfeld. Witnesses were 1) farmer Friedrich Schütz, 2) master joiner/woodworker Wilhelm Raabe, 3) wife of master carpenter Haberland, 4) the young lady Emilie Steffen and 5) the young lady Rosalie Mickley.

Wilhem Liebenow is likely a relative of Auguste possibly a brother.

There was one other man, Alber Mittelstädt, who was having children about the same time as Carl. He was married in 1858, was 36 years old, and was the son of Friedrich Mittelstädt. There is a good chance that my Carl listed above is the brother of Alber so information about him will help to I am sure.
