I'm not certain where he came from the story goes that he stowed away on a steamer when he was 12 - I know he had a brother who was killed in WWI and 2 sisters who remained - the name itself - i understand means Miller so it could be fairly common - but you never know. My grandfather's name was Martin Mlinarich and emmigrated from Croatia around 1910 anyone with more information I would like to know
